Our first camp of summer is in full swing and we are having a blast!!!  We already have lots of finished projects:

Pajama Pants – love those little hedgehogs!!

Bracelets, Scrunchies and Head Bands!

Pillows with applique are really popular.  The pillow with the hedgehog applique….those are actually pockets!img_6360

We also have weaving and crochet happening in camp.  Students really do get to choose their form of fiber art!

And lots and lots of creativity!  I can’t wait for camp to start today to see what these students will come up with!

Monday Funday

Class on Monday was super fun and full of creative energy!

Our beading/jewelry making station is still seeing lots of action!  I love what these students are making!

Isn’t this narwhal amazing?!  I love that creative eye!img_6178

We are weaving up a storm.  This scarf is almost finished!  It will come off the loom next Monday.

The studio is always  a hive of creative energy.  Everyone choosing their own projects and bringing them to life!  For me, there is no better job to have or place to be!

Sewing Camp

11 Aug

Well, I can’t believe that summer camps are done.  I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching summer camp and our campers have been fabulous!  This past week we had sewing camp and there were so many good things that were made:

Clothing!

Hairbands and scrunchies!

Lots of bags and a hanging organizer!

Letters, a mobile and a pompom!

Lots and lots of stuffies!

We had a fantastic time!  Now it’s on to our fall schedule which starts the week of August 20th.  I can’t wait to see what creative goodness is made in our classes!

Lots and lots of weaving!

We made bags and back packs!

Quilted items!

More!

And more!  Looking back at the week, I can’t believe how much we accomplished!!
